Rojak Kallang
The following project was done up for a module I took in school called Prepress where we learnt about how to make zines, book binding, packaging ideas and the basic fundamentals of publication. Rojak Kallang was the end of module project that called for us to design a whole book by ourselves. From binding it to printing it, everything about this book had to be unique and personal. I chose to write about Kallang, the neighbourhood I live in and inside the book documents the different elements of my neighbourhood and how they become a vital ingredient in making my neighbour the way it is.
Here are some photographed shots of the book after printing. I think this whole publication led me to sleep like a total of 2 hours in 3 days because there were so many things to write, photograph, interview and so on.

I hand-stitched the book and bind them together, it was really interesting and surprisingly therapeutic to do as well.
